Word cant print due to a problem with the printer setup что значит
I'm on Word 16.15 (Office Insider Fast), and printing has become a nightmare. I can only get one successful print job sent before printing quits completely and I have to quit and re-open Word.
I see others have had this issue - any resolution/workarounds?

***Description of Problem***
On Word 16.15, I get the following error message when attempting to print:
"Word can't print due to a problem with the printer setup."
After I acknowledge the error, the normal print dialogue pops up and I am able to complete the print normally.
But if I try to print again (after the initial print is complete), I get the same error message, but the print preview window reports "0 of 0 pages". When I click the print button, nothing actually gets sent to the printer.
If I quit word and restart, then I can print again for that initial time, but not for additional prints thereafter. Each print requires me to close Word, re-open, and start the process again.
All other MS Office apps print without error. All other system applications print without error.

I have the same problem on my Mac, OS 10.13.5, and my Epson printer, XP-760. There is no similar problem if I open a document (however created) in Word 2011, or in other applications. I have checked that I have the latest Epson printer driver.

This issue should be resolved. Please reboot your Mac then try launching Word and trying to print. An update may or may not be available, but the fix should be applied either way.

I've restarted my computer only to be able to print once then experience the same error again and not be able to print at all.

As I had the same problem, I contacted Microsoft and had an online 'chat' with a Microsoft advisor. He told me that the problem had been caused in (or by) the latest Microsoft update. He provided me with a link for downloading and installing the previous update version of Word 2016, which temporarily solved the problem. (I am afraid I cannot any more find the link.) He also assured me that MS knew about the problem, were working on it, and that it would be resolved in the next update.
The next day a new update was announced. As a safety precaution I had retained the installer for the older update of Word 2016 that the MS advisor had made available to me, so it felt safe to install the new update. I did so, and this update did indeed resolve the problem. I now have Word v. 16.14.1 and printing on my Epson XP-760 is now problem-free; I have not tried scanning, because I have a separate V500 scanner (which is working correctly).
Incidentally there was also an update to Excel, so presumably there will have been a printing problem with Excel, too.

For a couple of months I have been unable to print from my Lenovo laptop (using Windows 10) to my HP Officejet Pro 8610. I don't have to print too regularly, so have managed to cope by saving documents as PDFs and printing from my mobile, but that isn't great and I want to sort it out.
I have tried removing and reloading the driver.
I see others had similar problems back in October with Windows update KB4524147. I don't seem to have installed that update.
Please can you help?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues printing from your computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
- Are you getting any error when you print?
- How is the printer connected to the computer? (Wireless or USB)
Meanwhile, I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall it and check if it helps.
Here is how it is done.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer . If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ' Delete ' or 'Remove Device '
6.) Open up the run command with the " Windows key + R " key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the " Drivers " tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver . If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC
14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.

Способ 1: Назначение принтера по умолчанию
В большинстве случаев юзеры не смотрят на выбранный принтер в программе, через которую запускается печать, и сразу отправляют документ в обработку. Иногда это приводит к тому, что аппаратом по умолчанию выступает отключенное оборудование, поэтому и появляется рассматриваемая проблема. Во избежание подобных ошибок рекомендуется вручную указывать необходимый аппарат или назначить его основным в системе.
Способ 2: Отключение функции двустороннего обмена данными
Стандартная конфигурация принтера включает в себя активный параметр автоматической передачи настроек из системы в принтер, а называется этот пункт «Двусторонний обмен данными». Даже сами разработчики устройств указывают на то, что активный режим работы этого инструмента часто приводит к появлению неполадок с печатью. Поэтому мы предлагаем отключить его.

Откройте «Пуск» и перейдите в «Параметры». В случае со старыми версиями Windows потребуется выбрать пункт «Устройства и принтеры».
Способ 3: Перезапуск службы «Диспетчер печати»
За корректное осуществление всех действий с принтером отвечает одна системная служба «Диспетчер печати». Из-за различных ошибок или сбоев в ОС она могла быть отключенной или перестать нормально функционировать. Поэтому мы советуем вручную перезапустить ее, что делается так:

Откройте утилиту «Выполнить», зажав комбинацию клавиш Win + R. В поле введите services.msc и щелкните на «ОК».

Способ 4: Настройка очереди печати (для сетевых принтеров)
Не все обладатели печатающих аппаратов имеют прямой доступ к ним, иногда они подключаются через локальную сеть с помощью домашней или корпоративной группы. Тогда в силу применяются стандартные параметры, отправляющие документ в очередь печати, а не сразу в принтер. Из-за этого возникает проблема с переходом файла в активный режим и отображается соответствующее уведомление. Настроить эти параметры можно на главном компьютере, воспользовавшись следующей инструкцией:
- Перейдите к списку устройств так, как это было показано в Способе 2, отыщите сетевое оборудование и откройте окно управления им.
После этих действий обязательно перезагрузите принтер, а также не забудьте очистить очередь. Если нет никаких
параметров, задерживающих печать, неполадка должна немедленно исчезнуть.
Способ 5: Отключение автономного режима
Способ 6: Переустановка драйвера
Драйвер принтера отвечает за нормальное функционирование его программной части. Неполадки с работой этого компонента или неправильная установка приводит к прекращению работоспособности. Поэтому мы рекомендуем полностью удалить старый драйвер так, как это показано в статье по следующей ссылке.
После этого останется только отыскать драйвер последней версии любым удобным методом, скачать его и инсталлировать. Приоритетным местом поиска является официальный сайт, идущий в комплекте лицензионный диск или утилита от разработчика.
Способ 7: Использование средства устранения неполадок
Выше мы рассмотрели все программные методы решения возникшей неполадки, которые не задевает стандартное системное средство устранения проблем. Если ничего из перечисленного ранее не принесло результата, запустите этот инструмент, чтобы он провел автоматическую диагностику.

Способ 8: Извлечение застрявшей бумаги
Как уже было сказано ранее, не все модели печатающего оборудования отображают ошибки корректно, что бывает и при возникновении ситуации с застрявшей внутри бумагой. Ее клочки не позволяют ролику захвата взять новый лист или же уведомляют о наличии внутри посторонних предметов. В таком случае надо самостоятельно разобрать принтер и проверить его внутренности на наличие кусков бумаги или, например, скрепок. При обнаружении посторонних предметов их нужно аккуратно извлечь.
Способ 9: Проверка картриджей
Если ни один из указанных выше методов не принес никого результата, проверять требуется картриджи. Не всегда программное обеспечение показывает уведомление о том, что краска кончается. Необходимо вручную достать чернильницы и проверить их содержимое. Кроме этого, иногда принтер вовсе не видит картридж, поэтому нужно предпринимать другие меры. Working with Windows 10, after an update can no longer print from word, get the message
word can't print due to a problem with Printer settings, can print from publisher and excel sometimes.
I have not changed any settings, help

To better assist you - May I have the exact model name of the printer? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
While you respond to that, download and install HP Print and Scan Doctor, it is a Windows tool to fix printer issues.
If the issue still persists, try re-installing the printer driver -
1. In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".
2. Look for HP Printer software.
3. Right-click to uninstall.
4. In the search box, type and open “Devices and printers”.
5. In the Devices and Printers, look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose “Delete” or “Remove Device”.
6. Open the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7. Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”).
8. Click on the "Drivers" tab.
9. Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click “Remove” at the bottom.
11. Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
12. Close Devices and Printers Once the software and drivers are removed.
13. Restart the computer.
14. Download and install the software and drivers from here.
15. Click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

When we encounter a printer error the first thing that comes into our mind is that our printer has developed some problem itself. However, in some cases such errors can be resolved by making some changes in your Windows settings. One such error is that “Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup.” In this tutorial, we will describe how to fix this error message permanently.
How to Fix ‘Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup’ Error Message
The steps we will be describing below are for Windows 10 OS, but you can follow the same procedure for other Windows OS as well.
- In the Registry Editor, expand ‘HKEY_CURRENT_USER’ folder.
- Inside HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder, expand ‘Software’ folder.
- Inside Software folder, find and expand ‘Microsoft’ folder.
- Inside ‘Microsoft’ folder, find and expand ‘Windows NT’ folder.
- Inside the Windows NT folder, expand ‘CurrentVersion’ folder.
- Inside the Current Version folder, find and right-click ‘Windows’ folder and select ‘Permissions’.
9. In Permissions window, select ‘ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES’, then check ‘Allow’ checkbox in front of ‘Full Control’ option. Click on ‘Apply’, then click ‘OK’.
Important Note: Repeat the same steps with “Administrator” or “System” account
- Inside CurrentVersion folder, again right-click ‘Windows’ folder and choose ‘Permissions’.
- In the ‘Enter the object names to select’ text box type ‘everyone’ and click ‘OK’.
13. Select ‘everyone’ in the ‘Group or user names’ list. Check ‘Allow’ checkbox in front of the ‘Full Control’ option. Click on ‘Apply’ and finally click ‘OK’.
- Close Registry Editor.
- In the search box type ‘services’ and click on ‘Services’ app.
- In the Services window, scroll down to find and select ‘Print Spooler’. Click on ‘Stop’ link.
- Click on ‘Start’ link to restart the Print Spooler.
20. Now, the Print Spooler has restarted. You can see that the ‘Stop’ and ‘Restart’ links are active again.
- Close the ‘Services’ window and restart your computer.
- That’s it.
After restarting your computer, try to print a page, the ‘Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup’ error would have been fixed.
