Bios did not support insydeflash
* Readme.txt :
"Model Name: Aspire 5315, Aspire 5320, Aspire 5715Z, Aspire 5720, Aspire 7320, Aspire 7720, eMachines E510
Install SOPЎG
1. Please kindly unzip under windows mode.
2. Right click "BIOS_v1.45.exe" and execute this file as an administrator to update bios."
iscflash.dll
InsydeFlash.exe -
CL50145A.fd -
platform.ini
iscflash.sys
iscflashx64.sys

After accepting the End User License Agreement, it showed the following messages:
1. IHISI: Get AT-p support mode fail in smi
2. BIOS did not support InsydeFlash
Is the BIOS working fine or something is wrong with it?
How should I update it?
Thanks in advance,

As I understand the HP BIOS update failed & the computer will not restart,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Did you attempt the combination of Windows key + B as certain models support this version for the BIOS recovery?
Do you know if this was a BIOS or a windows update?
While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:
If the BIOS on your PC becomes corrupted, for example from a failed BIOS upgrade or damage from a virus, the computer will fail to boot into an operating system. The computer might display a BIOS APPLICATION ERROR 50+ or simply stop at a black screen or beep. If you cannot enter the BIOS Setup Utility or System Recovery screens, and cannot start the computer from external storage devices, use this document to restore the BIOS.
Many HP computers have an HP BIOS Restore tool that might be able to recover the BIOS from an earlier version and restore basic functionality. This tool might or might not work in the event of BIOS corruption depending on many factors, but is worth trying in the event the BIOS has become corrupted.
Start with a hard reset to release any excessive static on the PC:
* If Windows is open, click Start and then Shutdown.
* If Windows is not open and the computer has power, press and hold the power button on the computer until the computer shuts off.
* With the power off, disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer.
* With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the computer for 5 seconds. The power light indicator on or near the power button might turn on briefly but then go out.
* Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power.
Attempt to reset or recover the existing BIOS (if the recent update was interrupted): Click here
Step 1: Verify the current BIOS version installed and the correct ROM Family SSID for your PC
Step 2: Find the BIOS updates
Step 3: Download and install the BIOS update

Model: Pavilion dv7-3067cl
Running Windows 7 (can't remember if 32 bit or 64 bit)
No software or hardware changes, although battery does not hold a charge and use AC Adapter [should probably get a new battery]
Yesterday afternoon I got the dreaded black screen on start-up. At first there was a cursor at the top left corner, but that disappeared when I did Ctrl-Alt-Del. [I usually hibernate my notebook instead of turning it off completely]
No beeps, but the CAPS & NUM lights blink twice which indicate a BIOS problem. I tried the Ctrl and B held while powering on with no results. With the various posts on the forum and other places, I have done the following to attempt to make a USB key:
HP_TOOLS volume (name of usb drive) with Hewlett-Packard file folder containing 3 folders named: BIOS, BIOSUpdate, and SystemDiags.
I also downloaded the BIOS SoftPaq for my computer model (SP47531). When I attempted to run the SP on my notebook with Windows 8, I get these messages/errors one after another:
1) Cannot open file. C:\Users\Aud\AppData\Local\Temp\InsydeFlash.exe
2) Cannot open file C:\. \Local\Temp\iscflash.dll
3) Error Some file(s) could not be extracted
When I attempt to run insydeflash.exe from the run prompt, the error box says "InsydeFlash can not load the driver. Please close all applications. If you are running this utility in Vista, please run as an administrator."
When I attempt to execute the BIOS SP using another notebook (running Windows 7), I get to the InsydeFlash screen (V3.73I00), but after I click start, my results are in this order:
1) IHISI: get support mode fail in SMI!
2) BIOS did not support InsydeFlash
I also used the HP Download and Install Assistant to download and install the BIOS SoftPaq with the same results listed above.
I also tried the previous BIOS version with the same results.
I would like to make this USB key so that I can see if my BIOS can be fixed, but I am stumped on how to get InsydeFlash to work so that I can extract the files from the SoftPaq BIOS for my model.

Okay, so I got the laptop from my aunt and she gave it to me broken, not booting up. So I wanna upgrade/downgrade the BIOS and probably will help with the issue. It booted yesterday, but it didn't today. I followed the instructions in this document at Recovering the notebook BIOS using an external device . I currently have a blank non-bootable USB, and whenever I extract the BIOS there, I get " Error IHIS! not support current BIOS " followed with " BIOS did not support InsydeFlash "
May anyone please help me to finally fix this devil. Any help would be appreciated.
And yes, It is on Windows 10 Pro 32 bit. I did a fresh clean install of it yesterday.

Welcome to the HP Forum!

I understand that your aunt gave you this notebook in a non working condition. You have installed Windows 10 and have gotten it to boot once. When you attempted to recover the bios you received the message "Does not support current BIOS " followed with " BIOS did not support InsydeFlash"
Have you tried restoring the defaults from the bios screen? Have you made any change to the notebook, example change the hard drive? As this computer was manufactured before Windows 10 was released , it is not likely to recognize the bios, as you are running Windows 10. You would need to return to the original operating system which was Vista SP1. Do you have recovery disks?( If not perhaps your aunt does) I would also test for hardware failures. HP Notebook PCs - Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 10, . Can you boot into safe mode? HP PCs - Windows Safe Mode (Windows 10,

и
phlash16 /x /s /mode=3 /BBL /BU %UMAROM%
