After you back up any data that you may need later, use one of the following procedures to uninstall Groove from the computer.
How to uninstall Groove 2007 but leave all associated data
On the File menu, click Exit, and then click Yes when you are prompted to confirm. If Groove stopped because of an error, open Task Manager to confirm that Groove is not running.
In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs. In the list of installed programs, select the 2007 Microsoft Office suite that you are running, and then click Change.
Click Add or Remove Features, and then click Continue.
Click Microsoft Office Groove, click Not Available, and then click Continue.
When the Setup program is finished uninstalling Groove 2007, click Close.

In the Groove Launchbar, click Preferences on the Options menu, and then click the Identities tab.
For each identity, click No Listing for the Public Groove Directory and for the local network directory.

After you back up any data that you may need later, use one of the following procedures to uninstall Groove from the computer.
How to uninstall Groove 2007 but leave all associated data
On the File menu, click Exit, and then click Yes when you are prompted to confirm. If Groove stopped because of an error, open Task Manager to confirm that Groove is not running.
In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs. In the list of installed programs, select the 2007 Microsoft Office suite that you are running, and then click Change.
Click Add or Remove Features, and then click Continue.
Click Microsoft Office Groove, click Not Available, and then click Continue.
When the Setup program is finished uninstalling Groove 2007, click Close.
How to uninstall Groove 2007 and remove all associated data
In the Groove Launchbar, click Preferences on the Options menu, and then click the Identities tab.
For each identity, click No Listing for the Public Groove Directory and for the local network directory.
If you intend to use this account on another computer, back up the account. For more information about how to do this, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Click the Account tab, click Delete under Delete Account from this Computer, and then provide your password when you are prompted.
This procedure prevents your current installation from being retained as a computer for the account in the new installation.

Кто либо корректно смог деинсталировать данный аплет от Microsofta, сохранив при этом Office не тронутым, эта гадость прописалась везде от контекстного меню "правой кнопки мыши" ну в автозагруске это естественно, а реестре её столько что пожалуй у меня рука устала жать на клавишу прокрутки набрав в редакторе реестра "найти" "groove". Cудя по отзывам интернета данная программа ни что иное как программа индексирования, но причем не только мультимедийных файлов но и электронной почты, внутреннего документаоборота, установленного ПО, точек обновления и восстановления системы и многое другое, я бы сказал почти каждое действие. Мне такой подарок даром не нужен, поэтому хочется удалить все его следы присутствия в системе. Если кто это делал подскажите вожможные варианты.

Нажимаем Download, и скачиваем торрент файл;
Потом скачиваем программу uTorrent;
Открываем торрент файл с помощью программы uTorrent и начинаем закачку.
GrooveMonitor встроенная шляпа в дистрибутив и выборе компонентов полностью отсутствует ! Проверенно 10 раз, а версия самая обыкновенная Enterprise с оффициальным Servise Pack 1
кроме как в поисковике "синхронизация папок" и в контекстном меню рабочего стола я ее не замечал, отключал ее только на автозагрузку, нет ее и в фотоной работе тоже.
она работает еще на пару с месенжером, его тоже отключил из автозагрузки.
чтобы предотвратить предстоящий на старте Groove.
1. Перейдите в меню "Пуск" и выберите пункт Выполнить
2. Введите msconfig и нажмите Enter.
3. Перейдите на вкладку Автозагрузка и затем снимите все ссылки на "groovemonitor"
4. Перезагрузка
Да мне не надо предотвращать его запуск, мне надо удалить все его следы присутствия в системе, а msconfig это детский сад всего лишь одна веточка реестра, загрузку можно прописать и в других ветках, получится практично и не заметно. Одним словом надо просто убить наглухо эту хрень.
vladimir_il_ov Гуру (3717) ну если эта программа при таком результате в фоновой работе не присутствует, о чем я уже говорил, и службы также отключены, нужно пологать что и не задействуется она под на свои задачи, и без того есть службы что отслеживают аналогичные движения.
Всё, труба.. . не вычистишь.
Я бы от злости отформатировал винт, переустановил систему и поставил надежный и проверенный Офис 2003.

Процесс GrooveMonitor.exe может потреблять значительный объем системных ресурсов, поэтому, если вы не пользуетесь приложением Grove 2007, рекомендуется отключить приложение из автозагрузки.
