С какими материнскими платами совместимы:
Процессоры серии AM3 совместимы с материнскими платами оснащёнными Socket AM3(941 pin), построенными на чипсетах(наборах логики) AMD 870, 880G, 890GX, 880G и 890FX.

Кроме того, процессоры серии AM3 могут быть установлены в материнские платы оснащённые более современным Socket AM3+(942 pin), построенные на чипсетах(наборах логики) AMD 970, AMD 990X, AMD 990FX.

Не смотря на то, что все пять поколений процессоров AMD Ryzen созданы для единого сокета AM4, полная совместимость с чипсетами всех серий и поколений отсутствует. Это обусловлено внутренней структурой и архитектурой процессоров и поддерживаемого чипсетами функционала.

Замена процессора в ноутбуке зависит от конкретной модели чипсета (северного моста) и установленного в ноутбук процессора.
Процессоры в корпусе rPGA (съемные) могут быть заменены в домашних условиях.
Процессоры в корпусе fcBGA распаяны на материнской плате ноутбука, их замена возможна только при наличии оборудования для BGA пайки.

Hong Kong manufacturer of graphics cards Inno3D announced the delivery of two fresh products based on the base of the graphics core Nvidia GK104 and the original cooling system Arctic Accelero Hybrid, — iChill GTX 680 iChill GTX and LCS 670 LCS.

The GIGABYTE Co. presents the latest version of the GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8G graphics accelerator, which got the GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD rev2 reference designation.
The novelty is based on the 16 nm NVIDIA GP104 chipset with the Pascal architecture. This GIGABYTE product features 1,920 streaming processors, 120 texture units and 64 ROPs. The chipset supports 8 GB of the GDDR5 memory with the 256-bit bus and the 8,008 MHz frequency. Two operation modes are available, they are Gaming Mode and OC Mode. In the first case the base clock is 1,594 MHz, and the boost clock equals 1,784 MHz. In the OC Mode these values correspond to 1,620 MHz and 1,822 MHz.
The accelerator card is supplied with the RGB Fusion backlighting, offering various effects and the possibility to choose among 16.8 mln of shades. There is a backplate at the rear. Buffalo Technology is about to release its newest line of wearable hard drives. Codenamed HD-PCFU3-C, the products will be available in three capacity versions: 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB. All of them allow as pure black so pure white exterior design. The models will be backed by 1 year limited warranty.
The Buffalo HD-PCFU3-C external HDs are housed in solid aluminum cases and equipped with a high-speed USB 3.0 interface. The latter might be used both for data transfer as well as charge-in purposes; put it otherwise, the user will be saved from the necessity to buy an additional AC adaptor.
Pricewise, the cheapest solutions are 500 GB HD-PCF500U3-BC and HD-PCF500U3-WC with the price tag of $90. The HD-PCF1.0U3-BWC and HD-PCF1.0U3-BBC of 1 TB capacity will cost about $110, whereas their senior companions, the PCF2.0U3-GBC and HD-PCF2.0U3-GWC of 2 TB capacity, will go as high as $165. Shipping is to start in early January 2015.
