Realtek lightweight filter driver is not installed or failed to load что делать
My Realtek 2.5G network adapter will randomly drop connection and go to unidentified network. This is using the 10.038 driver from Gigabytes site. It will drop at least once every 24 hours. Reset adapter and it is fixed for a bit. It also happens with a 10.042 driver from Realtek's site.
It does not happen if i uninstall the driver and use the generic Windows driver.
Anyone else experience this on B550 boards?
Yes, i have the same problem i try all drivers version . I will unninstall and go with generic driver.
Meantime i think i found what cause the problem, try to disable in the Ethernet properties the Realtek LightWeight Filter (Ndis6.40) seems to be working ok after that .
I have exactly the same problem on Gigabyte b550 Aorus Elite, the adapter will drop the connection and you can see in the windows event log:
The network interface "Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller" has begun resetting. There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets. Reason: The network driver detected that its hardware has stopped responding to commands. This network interface has reset 4 time(s) since it was last initialized.
tzumb where do you see this "Realtek LightWeight Filter"?
linkgo to conection properties and the on ethernet properties and unckeck the realtek Lightweight Filter.Google it if still don't find it , i will try to put some picture.
Every time I've looked they are a fair bit newer than the GB-site-supplied RealTek NIC drivers. The newer drivers also work better, definitely. Just thought I'd pass it on!
Strange but I don't have "Realtek Lightweight Filter" in this list
waltc3
the author mentioned he uses 10.042, now I see they have 10.043, will try it, thanks.
I really tried everything, e.g. old/new driver, settings as described here, new BIOS, new cables, different ports etc. Nothing helped.
Now it is strange :-) I disconnected my Ugreen switchable USB hub and until now I did not realized any further disconnects. I played some hours without any problems.
Maybe it is something you can try.
I agree with waltc3. I never run any drivers from the MB vendor unless I absolutely cannot avoid it. They are almost always down level. A couple generations ago I was forced to run MB drivers for the Aquantia 5 Gbps NIC because the MB vendor had modified it and the NIC was not even recognized with the Aquantia driver. Enjoy, John.
i'm also have the same problem but on linux i have both the B550 AND B450 ELITE they work flawless on windows 10 2004 but on linux the ethernet adapter is not even being detected updated both boards to the latest bios thought that may have been it but no go i don't have a clue if it could be a setting in the bios itself nothing really stood out to me when i looked agin this is only when i run linux i've tried fedora 33,manjaro,zorin os,elementary os,endoveror os all the latest version still no go
It's not only happening on B550 with the realtek lan controller
Same happens here on the X570 platform too, I have a AORUS master X570 with a Realtek 2.5G network adapter and it happens randomly,
It happens random, but it happens more when I go over 5Mbit upload speed, there is no fix yet and support is trying to figure it out, realtek is no help
I've disabled every energy option possible but nothing
Same problem here on B550I Aorus Pro AX with RTL8125 ethernet. (aka R8125) On a clean Win 10 2004 install.
I have tried every driver version out there, including the latest 10.43 one from Realtek direct.
Realtek's 10.43 and the original Win 10 MS driver (v9.1.410.2015) have been the most stable. However whenever I have high utilization for a long time I still end up getting resets. On 10.43 it lasts sometimes over a day, however when it finally fails it will take a long time to recover.
I'm using a USB ethernet adapter for now while we wait for drivers to improve. Gigabyte support has been no help as they claim to be unaware of this issue.
Linux has had the same problems (check dmesg for errors), but they just posted a new Linux driver that I haven't had the time to test yet.
Just registered to share a similar issue with an MSI (don't kill me we're on the same boat) MOBO
Having the same issue here, RTL8125B, using a third party 2.5gb ethernet card as my MOBO ( z170a gaming pro ) only support 1gb.
Plugged using an Ethernet cable, getting multiple disconnect everyday, it usually last for a second or trwo and then it come back all by itself, while it's not a big issue while browsing, playing online is something else as I get kicked out of the game everytime.
I also noticied that the more load my internet is having (like playing + discord ) the more this will happen, it can happen 6 to seven time in half an hour FFS.
I tried every realtek driver I could find, from the legacy one that windows install all the way to the latest one, and others in between, tried every settings, disabled every energy / green settings, and nothing helps. Thinking about buying another ethernet card powered by Intel driver, more expensive but hopefully it'll work as Realtek can't get their "xxx" together.
I have a MSI H110 PC MATE motherboard (running Windows 10). Since a few weeks, after an update of the MSI software, NetworkGenie is throwing this error message at me:
Winpk filter driver is not installed or failed to load
Somebody has an idea what the problem could be? The error literally came after I installed some MSI drivers / utilities through MSI Live Update, after which I rebooted, and there it was. I hoped there would be another update soon which would resolve this error, but until now it's still here.

MSI Live Update is a great utility. when it works right. Which tends to be rarely.
If it was me, I'd uninstall MSI Live Update, then go straight to the support site and manually download and install the driver from there.
Here's the thing. Rarely do you realistically NEED to update drivers to have a system run. Once stable drivers are developed, they generally only release updates if an issue is found. Which tends to be rare.
Stick to manually updating your drivers. You'll have less issues down the road. The only one I might update often might be the graphics card driver, simply because that can help with games. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about updating them until you run into an issue.

That's not really answering my issue, off course. LiveUpdate is only applying the updates that you can also install manually. I not always install what LiveUpdate is suggesting. So it does not make much difference if I install updates through LiveUpdate or manually, because basically it are the exact same updates that are being installed.
Annyway, if someone has a concrete solution for this error, feel free to answer.

Uninstall your current drivers.
Install the drivers from your CD and see if the error continues.
If it does, reinstall Windows.

In theory you are correct, however I experienced issues where installing via LiveUpdate doesn't install the driver correctly, as it either tries to reboot before its complete or it doesn't register the installation properly. Many drivers require that you use the update to uninstall the old driver, reboot, install the new driver, reboot, and then finalize. This procedure doesn't work correctly with LiveUpdate.

I have the same problem - my Omen Accelerator stopped working - and I get the error message Realtek Lightweight Filter Driver is not installed or failed to load. What can I do with this? I am connecting it to a Huawei Matebook Pro X.

I see from your post that you need assistance with HP Omen accelerator not detected. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you recently made any software or hardware changes on the PC before the issue started?
When was the last time it worked?
Have you tried to follow the steps suggested from the previous post? If you haven't tried it yet. Please try and get back to us with the results as this will help us in further assisting you.
Let's start off by enabling Hardware accelerator from control panel:
1. Choose Start > Control Panel.
2. Double click Personalization and select Display Settings.
3. Click Advanced Settings.
4. Click Change Settings on the Troubleshooting tab.
5. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Enable
If the issue persists, I would suggest you could try uninstalling the display drivers from Device manager:
Right-Click on start button> click device manager> expand display adapters>then select the display drivers that are listed and right-click on it and uninstall the drivers.
Check the box that states delete the software for this device.
Now restart the computer and then update the Bios, chipset and graphics card drivers on your PC.
Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.
Alternatively, I would suggest you follow the steps suggested in the support document for -HP OMEN GA1-10 Accelerator - Setting Up the OMEN Graphics Accelerator
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

My NVM Firmware is 14.00 and Thundebolt software version 17.4.78.21.
I installed the NVIDIA GTX 1060 in the accelerator, and connected power and thunderbolt to pc. When I connect the accelerator to my T580, the red icon light on the front comes on and the fan on the graphics card spins up but the accelerator is not acknowledge by Windows
When also I open the Accelerator app, I receive a 'Realtek LightWeight Filter driver is not installed or failed to load' error.
My issue is similar to:
however, there are no instructions how to update the firmware.
Any assistance will be appreciated!

I finally got it working when I realize that the docking could be used to charge the battery of the laptop i.e. when I removed the power supply cable from the laptop and then plugged in the docking station it was recognize immediately, all the driver were installed automatically and even the Omen accelerator app opens with no errors.
AND. as it turns out, I was wrong about the station charging the laptop but plugging the power back in after the OMEN is functioning is fine. phew

I get this error at every Windows 10 launch. Prior questions on this site say it is an MSI program installed with an MSI motherboard.
My OLD motherboard WAS an MSI, but I replaced it with a Gigabit motherboard last summer. I UNINSTALLED the MSI software [I thought] and cannot find the Winpk Filter to uninstall it. Any suggestions?
