Ошибка в эксель module not found
I am really struggling with my Office products crashing whenever i go near the file menu. Oddly it only occurs when i am working on existing documents, if i open a new document i can access the file menu (but not the info tab) fine but as soon as i save the document Office will start crashing as soon as i click on file with the following error in event viewer

This issue is effecting both Word and Excel (the only 2 office products i use).
Uninstalled and reinstalled Office (including ccleaner and manually removing registry entries)
Gone from Office 2013 (Home and Business) to Office Professional Plus 2016
Confirmed i have no active add-ons (in excel)
Ran in safe mode (this actually works but i cannot work out what it has disabled if i have no add-ons)
Rebuilt my entire windows profile (this worked for a couple of days but i am having the issue again)
I have confirmed all the installation of all Office updates
Please help it is killing me!

Below are general troubleshooting steps to solve various problems in Excel. Try them one by one and check the result after each step (leave whatever you have already tried) -
0. If Feb 10, 2016 update (KB3114717) is installed, this should be uninstalled.
2. Please look into C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel (replace user name with your user name, you can directly reach here by copy and pasting following without quotes in Explorer address bar - "%appdata%\Microsoft\Excel\") and see if is contains few files / folders. Move those files to some other location (i.e create a backup of those files / folders and delete all files / folders from here). Hence, make Excel folder blank.
Now open the file and see if the problem disappears or not.
Note - to find Excel path, you need to find XLSTART path. Excel folder contains XLSTART folder in itself (In case, your XLSTART path is not in Appdata)
1. Open Excel
2. ALT+F11
3. If Immediate Window is not visible, type CTRL+G. Same can be also be accessed through View > Immediate Window
4. Type "? application.StartupPath" without quotes and press enter
5. You will have your path below.
3. Sometimes, this is caused due to excel not being able to access the default printer. Close all office applications and change your default printer through Start > Devices and Printers to another printer. It may be some physical one or One Note or XPS or PDF or anything else. If this is the problem, then you will need to update your printer driver for default printer.
Also upgrade all your Printer Drivers to latest from the internet.
4. Many third party applications also cause the problem like Tuneup Utilities, Abby Finereader, Kaspersky Anti Virus etc. See if you have any of them installed. Close them one by one and see whether it helps.
5. Sometimes, add-ins can cause problems. To determine, if add-in is a problem start Excel in safe mode and see if problem has gone away. If yes, then start Excel normally and disable add-ins one by one and start Excel again every time you disable an add-in to determine the culprit add-in.
To start Excel in Safe Mode -
Hold CTRL key and click on Excel icon
OR
In the Search Box above Windows icon, type "Excel /s" without quotes and enter.
6. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15, look for EXCEL.EXE
Right Click on this, Properties, In Compatibility tab, check ""Run this Program as an Administrator""
Start the Excel. You might again get the error. Close Excel and uncheck "Run this Program as an Administrator" and start Excel again. You should not get the error anymore.
(If folder path is not correct, you will have to find EXCEL.EXE manually, like Program Files (x86) may be Program Files. Or you can even search for EXCEL.EXE in your C: drive
7. File > Options > Advanced - In General section (go very much down in Advanced), check "Ignore Other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)". Close and re-start the Excel. Uncheck "Ignore Other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)". Close and re-start Excel again. You should not get the error anymore. (Basically, DDE should remain unchecked)
8. You may try to disable the Hardware Graphic Acceleration and verify the result:
Open Excel.
Click on file, Options.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Under the Display section, check the box for 'Disable hardware graphics acceleration'.
Click ok and restart Excel.
9. Login to Windows with a new user profile and see if problem is resolved.
10. File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Protected View > Uncheck all options
File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > File Block Settings > Uncheck all options
12. If none of above works, please uninstall the current installed Office, and reinstall it again. Before resorting to uninstall, make sure that you have the license keys.
Note: Ensure to save the Fix it on the desktop and then run the file.

I have a workbook that was saved yesterday afternoon, and was working perfectly. I have opened it this morning, and none of the modules in the VBE are 'found'. Visually I can see them all sitting there.
When trying to open any of these modules to edit the code, the windows are greyed out, as below.
When I try exporting the code modules, I get the 'Module Not Found' errror.
Does anyone know a) why this has happened, and b) how can I fix this?
I thought initially it was the instance of my Excel, so have restarted the PC.
Any help is appreciated!
It's a sad fact of Office development that files do get corrupted from time to time. So much so that when I'm working on a significant project I regularly export all the vba to text files, and save copies of the documents. You might be able to recover some of you code using online services (and at some expence). If not, well, lesson learned I guess.
Yeah, it's a sad reality. The silly thing is I haven't been versioning the past couple days, so I would otherwise lose all that work! I have managed to find a solution though. I first tried to convert to .zip and then convert back to .xlsm but that didn't work. For some reason convert the file to .xls and it opened perfectly fine with all code intact. Needless to say, have now backed up and exported all! Weird!! Thanks both.

I managed to find a workaround to this problem, so sharing the solution in the event that someone else comes across a similar problem.
It seems that the VBA Project got corrupt somehow. Below, find some suggestions and workarounds in trying to solve something similar in the future.
- This is what worked for me. Convert the .xlsm file to a .xls file. You can do this by changing the file extension when renaming the file.
- You can also try to convert to .zip file type, and then convert back to .xlsm . Note: convert COPIES of your original, just in case.
- Export your VBA modules regularly
- Save different versions as you are building
I wonder if there is a way to extract modules from a excel file, they are truly just zipped archives and it sounds like your code was still there somewhere!
This is a well-described issue, and it exactly matches what I have just experienced (even including the fact that I haven't been versioning recently).
My file has an xlsb suffix. Resaving with a different suffix did not work for me on the same PC, but I emailed the file to another PC, opened it, saved as xlsm, sent it back to the original machine and it now works fine again. I can even re-save with my preferred xlsb suffix and it still works.
I've also run this script to make a backup of my modules:
The And objVBComp.Name <> "" stops it from erroring when it encounters a corrupted module but turned out not to be necessary as the 'fixed' file contained no corrupted modules.
