Me bios extension module execution has halted
- параметры блока питания (производитель, тип, мощность, сила тока по каждому из каналов);
- тип материнской платы (полезно дать ссылку на соответствующую страницу производителя), процессор, память, видеокарта, HDD и прочая периферия;
- сразу после покупки/сборки компьютера;
- после установки ОС/другого ПО/изменения разбивки HDD на разделы;
- после внезапного выключения питания;
- после установки/замены комплектующих;
- после разгона;
- после обновления BIOS;
- после изменения настроек в BIOS или в ОС;

When I reboot the system, two error messages occur as below:
2210 Parameter Frame Error
ME BIOS Extension module execution has halted. Update BIOS or management engine firmware if problem persists.
2206-End of POST HECI Failure system halted. Power cycle the system to reboot.
I have also updated the BIOS v01.59. Previous version was v01.04

Did you try resetting the CMOS?
Also, have you tested your memory to make sure all modules are working?

I've tried by resetting the CMOS and replaced the memory modules and even updated the BIOS with v01.59 but still the problem persists.
Moreover when I reset the CMOS and reboot the system without saving the configuration with F1; instead I press F2, then the Windows starts normally. But as soon as I save the setup configuration, the same error messages occur.

Hmmm. I'm not sure what else to try at this point. When you boot into Windows normally (after pressing F2), does your PC continue without error?

By removing CMOS battery and booting without saving configuration (by pressing F2 instead of F1), the windows starts normally. But as soon as the BIOS configuration is saved, the error messages 2210 & 2206 appear on the screen.

I'm not sure what else to try. have you made sure all your other firmware is up to date? How about checked the CMOS battery to make sure it's still good?

I am running into the same error on a DC7900. I have also update the BIOS but can't update the firmware. I get the message firmware not updated because BIN file is open or defective. I've redownloaded the BIN file and same issue.
I can't see how the BIN is open to close it.
Added info, the boot error only appears if I have an external drive attached via USB. Is there some setting in the BIOS I need to turn on, or off, as the case may be.

It sounds like your BIOS sees the USB drive as a bootable device rather than storage. I don't have a way to check that BIOS, and it's a little older so I'm not positive what options it has. But if you check the bootable devices, see if the removable drive is there. If so, disable it as a bootable device.
Another thing to chekc would be if there is a "Storage" option in the BIOS menu, open it and go to Storage Options. See if the removeable drive is listed there and if you can enable/disable it. If so, try changing enabling/disabling and then starting the PC to see if it makes a difference.

You can try two things:
1. Shut down the PC and unplug everything connected to it. keyboard, mouse, monitor, power cord -- everything. Press the power button to drain any residual current remaining on the motherboard.
Near the coin cell battery, there is a little yellow CMOS reset button.
Press and hold that for 30 seconds.
Put everything back together and reboot the PC. Hopefully the errors will be gone. You will need to reset the time and date in the BIOS.
If that doesn't work you will need to update the BIOS and update the ME firmware as suggested in the failure codes.
These updates can be found on your PC's support and driver page under BIOS.

Thanks Paul. Sad to say it didn't work. I did the reset thing and it asked me to reset the date and time as you said, but after saving the changes it went back to the same error.
I want to try your second suggestion to update the bios and ME firmware. I have already downloaded the bios updates and firmware for my machine using another PC but I cannot use it until it boots and loads windows. Any other suggestions?

Sorry the first method didn't work.
OK, on these machines you can update the BIOS from the BIOS menu, which is nice.
Run the program on another machine. Now carefully read the notes. You will see this:
The HP Business Desktop system supported by this softpaq provides a BIOS upgrade option through F10 setup using the "Flash System ROM" feature. Reboot the PC and press F10 to enter setup. In the File menu, select the "Flash System ROM" item. This flash utility will present the user with the option to select the media containing the BIOS image file (XXX_MMmm.bin). The binary image file is contained in the DOS Flash directory and is named XXX_MMmm.bin where "XXX" is the abbreviated BIOS family, "MM" is the major version number, and "mm" is the minor version number. F10 ROM based flash can accept the binary file from the root directory of any removable media such as USB, legacy floppy diskette, and CD. The BIOS CD Media file, included in this softpaq, should be used to create a BIOS image CD. When flashing with F10 ROM based flash, the CD media must be El-Torito compatible. The user is prompted when the process is completed. The new BIOS code will not take effect until the PC is rebooted.
Copy those contents to a usb jump drive and boot up the PC. In the BIOS menu there will be an option to flash the system ROM. Go ahead an do that.
I have never run the ME firmware update but if you read it it can be done from a DOS environment.
So you probably can copy those files to a Bootable USB Flash drive and run some commands to flash the ME firmware. Again, carefully read the instructions.
The instructions state to flash the BIOS to the lastest version first.
Here is a good article on how to make a USB jump drive bootable. I have used it successfully to update the microcode.
You will need to download the two files listed under Resources. Works like a champ. Just run the ME update executable command, whatever it is.

basically, download the BIOS Softpaq (sp73582) from the web site
run the Softpaq executable
once it is done, a web page will open showing a header of "BIOS Flash Update". In this web page you will see several links for installation options.
Hewlett-Packard BIOS Flash Update
- I want to update my BIOS in Microsoft Windows OS.
- I want to update my BIOS from F10 setup.
- I want to update my BIOS from a USB flash media device in Microsoft Windows OS.
- I want to update my BIOS from a DOS bootable USB flash media device.
- I want to use System Software Management (SSM).
- I want to use HP Client Manager Software (HPCMS).
- I want to use network BIOS flashing capabilities.
- My system tells me that my system flash ROM image is corrupted.
- Folder and flash methods general descriptions.
- View revision history
If you can boot into Windows, select the 1st option, otherwise, select any of the other options. The 2nd option will add the BIOS ROM code to a USB key that the BIOS can use to update after entering F10 setup
