After effects перенос камеры в max
AE Transfer is a set of two scripts, for Autodesk 3ds Max and Adobe After Effects, that allows these two apps to exchange parameters of 3D objects and 3D layers with each other.
The script for 3ds Max allows you to export cameras, lights, standard planes, and pass Position, Rotation and Scale properties of other 3D objects from 3ds Max to After Effects. The script generates another script as a *.jsx file containing exported data of the selected objects. This *.jsx script then runs in After Effects and creates the layers with the exported properties.
You can also export properties of a single object using Windows clipboard and then paste them to the layer in After Effects.
In case of exporting to *.jsx script, the following layers are created in After Effects:
The script for After Effects allows to export Cameras, Lights and 3D layer parameters from After Effects to 3ds Max. This script generates a MaxScript file (*.ms) containing exported data of the selected layers. The MaxScript file then runs in 3ds Max and creates the objects with the exported properties.
The following objects are created in 3ds Max:
The AE Transfer scripts work with all 3ds Max versions newer than 3ds Max 2013 , and all After Effects versions newer than CS6 . Both scripts were tested on Windows 7 and 10. The script for After Effects since version 2.02 also works on Mac OS.
Before using the tool, please check out the current list of Known issues and limitations.

After Effects3ds Max
- 3ds Max cameras have the Scale property which missing in After Effects cameras. In cases when this property was modified, for example, when the camera was previously imported from any matchmoving/3D Tracking application, this camera will not be created correctly in After Effects.
- The Tilt and Shift effects of a camera are not supported in After Effects. When using any physical camera type like Physical, VrayPhysical, or Corona camera, any nonzero values of Tilt or Shift parameters will result in a camera mismatch in After Effects.
- When exporting a VrayPhysicalCamera , the FOV parameter may get incorrect values and result in a camera mismatch in After Effects. This is caused by a "Lens breathing" effect that changes the camera's field of view but doesn't actually affect the fov property in 3ds Max.
The solution is to turn on the "Field of view" checkbox and remove any animation on the "Film gate", "Focal length", and "Zoom factor" parameters in the camera settings. - When exporting a Corona Camera with animated "Focal length" property, the FOV parameter may get incorrect values and result in a camera mismatch. If you need to animate the Corona Camera FOV, please use the "Field of View" or "Zoom factor" properties.
- When exporting a Camera created using any third-party Camera-Rig tool (like Free Motion Camera Rig) or linked to its structure, some camera parameters may get incorrect values and result in a camera mismatch.
- The export of a Two-Node Camera parented to another layer is not fully supported.
- The Two-Node Camera in After Effects has the Orientation and Rotation properties, both can be modified on X, Y, or Z axis, while the standard Target Camera in 3ds Max has only Roll property which is equivalent to z-axis rotation. Therefore, any changes of X and Y values of the Orientation and Rotation properties of the Two-Node Camera will not affect the Target Camera created in 3ds Max and will result in a camera mismatch.
- The Orientation and Rotation properties of Auto-Oriented layers can not be exported correctly to 3ds Max.
The license is linked to a computer name in Windows. This means the scripts can be installed and run on a computer only if its name matches one of the names specified in the fields «Computer 1 name» and «Computer 2 name».
In Windows, you can find a computer name in two ways:
- Right-click on «This PC», choose «Properties», and find the Computer name in the opened window.
- Press Win+R, type «cmd», press Enter. In the opened window type «hostname», and press Enter again.
During the purchasing, you are getting the license for two computers. If you specified a single computer name, you can add a second name later at any time. So, if you have only one PC just leave the field «Computer 2 name» empty.
The license can be edited by changing computer names every 90 days. This period is counting since the purchasing day or since the last license editing.
The license can be later extended to any number of computers.
- The script for After Effects can be run on Mac OS. Just unzip the installer and copy the .jsxbin and .lic files to the After Effects > Scripts folder.
- In both scripts, the message about successful exporting was replaced by the more convenient visual notification.
- The install log file is now created during installation. You can find the install_log.txt in Program Data > AE Transfer folder.
- In After Effects, the issue when exporting from a composition with a non-integer frame rate has been fixed.
- In After Effects, the issue when exporting layers without any Camera has been fixed.
- Some minor improvements.
- Now AE Transfer is a set of two scripts, for Autodesk 3ds Max and Adobe After Effects. So you can also export Cameras, Lights and 3D Layer parameters from After Effects to 3ds Max.
- In 3ds Max, the «Autodetect Animation» algorithm has got some improvements.
- In 3ds Max, the warning about too big Global Scale value has been added.
- The button "Add all Cameras" has been added. It allows to add all Cameras in a scene to the Export List by one click.
- Fixed an issue when exporting VRayPhysicalCamera without a target caused an error.
- Fixed an issue when selecting any other option than "Depth of Field" ("Multi-Pass Effects" section) of standard Free or Target Cameras caused an error.
- Fixed an issue when exporting any Light source that has not the "Intensity" property with checked "Export Light Intensity" checkbox caused an error when running a *.jsx in After Effects.
- In 3ds Max 2013 and newer versions fixed an issue when giving names with non-Latin symbols to a Max file or any object caused an error when running a *.jsx in After Effects.
- Fixed an issue when running the script caused an error in a scene in which an old version of AE Transfer was previously used.
- Corona Camera support has been added. Note: when animating "Focal length [mm]" property, the FOV parameter (Zoom in AE) may take incorrect values. If you need to animate Corona Camera FOV, please use "Field of View" or "Zoom factor" properties.
- Error handling has been added. In case of error, you will get a message with information about it, and in "Export to *.jsx" mode this information will be written to *.jsx file, so you can just email it to support@ae-transfer.com to report about the error.
- Minor bugs were fixed.
- Fixed the issue when turning off "Targeted" parameter of Physical Camera caused an error when «Autodetect Animation» is on.
- «Autodetect Animation» feature has got significant improvements. When exporting to *.jsx it also cuts redundant keyframes at the beginning of every parameter. Now Position, Rotation, and Scale parameter keyframes are reducing individually.
- Fixed the issue when animated Physical Camera Focal Length parameter did not export when «Autodetect Animation» is on.
- Fixed the issue when exporting objects linked to Biped object caused an error when «Autodetect Animation» is on.
- Fixed the issue when the script interface did not update after the «New», «Reset» and «Open» 3ds Max commands when AE Transfer rollout is open.
- Some minor improvements.
- More stable work when 3dsMax is running without Administrator privilege.
- The Start Frame and the End Frame values now can be set from -20000 to 20000.
- Fixed the bug when .jsx script causes an error in After Effects CS5 when any Light sources were exported.
- Fixed the bug when .jsx script causes an error when no Planes were exported.
- The Default Preferences button was added. Now you can set and save your preferences for permanent use. All these settings will be always applied when you run AE Transfer for the first time in a new scene or when you run the *.jsx script in After Effects.
- The Guess Export Range checkbox was added. When it is on, the Start and the End frame values links to the frame Range values from Time Output section of the Render Setup dialog. If render frame Range is inactive, the Start and the End frame values link to the active Animation Range. The link is updated in real time. Note: after the render frame Range was edited, the values will be updated after the Render Setup dialog is closed. But if you leave it open, these values will be forcibly updated when you click any Export button.
- Some minor improvements.
- Physical Camera support is added. Note: in versions prior to 2016, when exporting VrayPhysicalCamera, the Field Of View parameter (Zoom in AE) may assumes an incorrect values. That's because of "Lens breathing" effect, which involves FOV change, but in fact it not affects on camera's fov property. The first solution is to specify fixed FOV by a checkbox. The second is to manually adjust Zoom parameter in AE after an export.
- After Effects CS5 support is added.
- Some minor improvements.
- Now parameters of any object can be exported.
- In «Copy to clipboard» mode you can now manually choose the desirable parameters for export.
- Add Selected button is added, that was so lacking.
- Select in List button is added, so now you have quick access to the object in list, that is currently selected in scene.
- A progress bar for jsx-export mode is added.
- Now the Object list will be automatically updated when renaming or deleting multiple objects in the scene.
- Increased precision of an exported decimal values. Important for scenes where the values of object's position is high but the camera is located close to object and global scale is low.
- Licensing mechanism has been improved.
- Fixed Roll parameter when exporting Target Camera.
- Added Pivot position to Anchor point export - only in jsx-export mode. Not available when exporting via Windows clipboard.
- Added mzp-installer.
- в 3ds MAX создаём модели (объекты), текстурируем, освещаем, анимируем и рендерим отдельные секвенции кадров с альфа-каналом для каждого объекта (если хотите впоследствии иметь возможность редактирования);
MAX2AE_1.max
Frame Rate – NTSC.
файл MAX2AE_1.max).
Export Camera.
Camera Export
Helper Layer.
(Edit -> Paste).
Position!

Although the most popular pipeline to track a live action scene is to work in a dedicated 3d tracking system like Boujou, PF Track, Syntheyes and then export the camera to 3d application.
Not everyone, however, can afford these costly 3d tracking systems. For those, who have limited resources, they still can track the scene in After Effects and then export the tracking data to 3d application.
In this tutorial, I will show how to track a live action scene in After Effects and then exporting the camera data to 3ds Max.
1. Project Setting
Step 1
Open After Effects.
Open After Effects
Step 2
Go to Composition > New Composition to make a new composition.
Alternatively, you can press Ctrl-N keys. It opens the Composition Settings window.
Set the Width and Height values to 1280 and 720 respectively.
Set the Frame Rate to 25 and Duration to 12 seconds. Click on OK.
Composition Settings
Step 3
Go to File > Import > File to import the image sequence. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl-I keys. With the first image of the image sequence selected, turn on JPEG Sequence option. Click on Open.
File > Import > File
Step 4
With the image sequence selected in the Project window, press Alt-Ctrl-G keys to open the Interpret Footage window. In the Interpret Footage window, set the frame rate to 25 and click on OK.
Interpret Footage
Step 5
With the image sequence selected, drag and drop it inside the composition. You can see the footage in the comp view.
Image sequence
2. Camera Tracking in After Effects
Step 1
With the image sequence layer selected, go to Animation > Track Camera.
Animation > Track Camera
Step 2
The 3D camera tracker system starts analysing the footage. It analyses the footage in two steps.
3D camera tracker
Step 3
After a couple of seconds, the analyse process ends. Now you can see several track points in the scene.
If the track points are too tiny, you can increase the value of Track Point Size in the 3D Camera Tracker effect.
3D Camera Tracker
Step 4
These track points would help to generate the dummy 3D plane/null and the camera. You need to select at least four points to generate the helping dummy or layer.
Select several track points on the ground as shown in the following image.
3D plane/null
Step 5
With the points selected, secondary-click the mouse and select Create Null and Camera.
Create Null and Camera
Step 6
You get a null object and 3D camera in the timeline. This null object is the placeholder and sticks with the footage and follows the camera.
You get a null object and 3D camera
3. Exporting Camera Data to 3ds Max
Step 1
Alternatively, the script has been supplied with the tutorial also. Just copy the script and paste it in the Script folder of After Effects.
AE3D
Step 2
Restart After Effects. Open the same composition again.
With the null object and 3d camera layers selected, go to File > Script > AE3D_Export.jsx.
File > Script > AE3D_Export.jsx
Step 3
In the AE3D window, select the 3ds Max option, set the file name to camera tracker.ms and then click on Export. It saves the 3ds max script file on the desktop.
camera tracker.ms
4. Creating Scene in 3ds Max
Step 1
Open 3ds Max.
Open 3ds Max
Step 2
Go to MAXScript > Run Script.
MAXScript > Run Script
Step 3
Here select the camera track.ms script which was exported from After Effects. Click on Open.
camera track.ms
Step 4
You get a 3d camera and one dummy in the scene.
3d camera and one dummy
Step 5
In the perspective view, press C key for the camera view.
Camera view
Step 6
Right now the camera is upside down. You need to correct the coordinate of camera.
Coordinate of camera
Step 7
With the camera and dummy selected, group them together.
Camera and dummy
Step 8
After grouping, jump in the left viewport. Select the Rotate tool and rotate it to the right side. Your goal should be to put the dummy on the grid line.
Rotate tool
Step 9
Adjust the dummy a little bit more to make it straight.
Adjust the dummy
Step 10
Jump in the camera view. Press Alt-B keys to open the Viewport Configuration window. Turn on Use Files and Animate Background options. Click on Files.
Viewport Configuration
Step 11
Select the image, turn on Sequence option and click on Open.
Sequence
Step 12
Turn on the Show Safe Frame option in the camera view.
Alternatively, you can press Shift-F keys.
Show Safe Frame
Step 13
You can now make any 3d model and put it on the grid around the dummy. In my case, I have made a barrel model which I have imported into the scene.
3D Object
Step 14
At this stage, if you render the complete scene and play the video, you'll notice sliding problem in the 3d object.
To overcome this problem, drag the grouped dummy and camera a bit down. You should put the dummy at half of the black grid line.
Adjust the dummy and camera
Step 15
Put a plane beneath the 3d barrel. Apply Matte Shadow on to the plane.
Matte Shadow
Step 16
Apply a Skylight in the scene. Turn on Cast Shadow option.
Skylight
Step 17
Render the frame and you will see the 3d barrel is perfectly merged with the scene. You can now render the whole sequence and when you play the video you will see the 3d barrel is perfectly matching with the live scene.
Rendered frame
Conclusion
3D camera tracking system in After Effects is a great feature for 3D tracking. When it is combined with 3D application, it gives awesome results. I would try to bring some more interested tutorials based on 3D camera tracking.
Track Camera.
(3D Camera Tracker).
The Circling Eagles.
